Role Description

Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with experience in pressure vessel design, fabrication, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering standards, hands-on fabrication knowledge, and the ability to work closely with production, QA/QC, and project teams to deliver high-quality engineered equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and related fabricated equipment in accordance with ASME, API, and relevant codes.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, fabrication details, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Perform mechanical calculations including thickness design, nozzle loads, lifting/transport calculations, and stress analysis.
  • Collaborate with fabrication teams to ensure manufacturability, cost efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
  • Conduct material selection, welding procedure review, and inspection planning.
  • Support QA/QC during fabrication, hydrotesting, NDT, and final inspection.
  • Participate in client meetings, technical clarifications, and project reviews.
  • Ensure all engineering work meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in pressure vessel design and fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1/2.
  • Familiarity with API 650 / API 620 standards.
  • Experience in welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SAW).
  • Knowledge of material standards (ASTM, ASME).
  • Proficiency in PV Elite, Compress, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or ANSYS.
  • Experience working in fabrication shops or manufacturing environments.
  • Preference for Saudi candidates.
